What You’ll Need
- A Windows 10 or 11 computer
- A stable internet connection
- An IPTV subscription (Portal URL or M3U Playlist)
- One of the following apps:
- VLC Media Player
- MyIPTV Player (Microsoft Store)
1st Option: Using VLC Media Player (Best for M3U Playlist)
1: Download and Install VLC
- Go to: https://www.videolan.org/vlc/
- Download the Windows version
- Install it by running the downloaded setup file
2: Open VLC and Load Your IPTV Playlist
- Launch VLC
- Click Media → Open Network Stream
- Paste your M3U Playlist URL from your IPTV Canada provider
- Click Play
3: Browse and Watch Channels
- To see the list of channels, press Ctrl + L or go to View → Playlist
- Click on any channel to start streaming
2nd Option: Using MyIPTV Player (Best for EPG and UX)
1: Install MyIPTV Player from Microsoft Store
- Open the Microsoft Store
- Search for MyIPTV Player
- Click Install and wait for the download to complete
2: Add Your IPTV Playlist
- Open MyIPTV Player
- Go to Settings → Add New Playlist and EPG Source
- Under Remote Channels, add:
- Name (e.g., IPTV Canada)
- M3U Playlist URL
- (Optional) Under EPG Source, add your EPG XML URL if available
- Click Add and then Refresh
3: Start Streaming IPTV
- Go back to the Channels tab
- Select your playlist
- Click Load
- Channels and categories should appear on the left side
- Click on any channel to watch
Troubleshooting Tips
- Nothing loads? Double-check your M3U or Portal URL
- App crashes or lags? Restart your PC and re-open the player
- No video? Try a different player like IPTV Smarters for PC (via BlueStacks)
