First enable Developer options on your Google TV
1. Click gear icon to enter Settings panel.
2. Click System.
3. Choose About.
4. Hover over Android TV OS build and click it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
5. Click back button on the remote and Developer options will be enabled under System menu.
Next install the Downloader app
1. Go to the Google TV home and click Search for apps and games.
2. Enter downloader and press search icon on keyboard.
3. Click Downloader icon.
4. Click Install.
Use Downloader to install the WITV app
1. Click Open to open Downloader
2. Be sure to choose Allow when asked for media access.
3. In the URL text box, carefully type the code 616393 and then press the “Go” button on your remote control or screen. This code is essential for accessing the download link for the WITV app, so double-check for accuracy before continuing.
4. After pressing “Go”, the system will connect to the server, and the WITV app will begin downloading automatically. Depending on your internet speed, this may take a few moments. Please wait patiently while the download completes.
5. Once the download has finished, a prompt will appear asking you to install the app. Click the “Install” button to begin the installation process. This may take a few seconds to complete.
6. When the installation is complete, you’ll see an option to open the app. Click “Open” to launch the WITV app on your device for the first time.
7. On first launch, the app may ask for permission to access your device’s storage or media files. These permissions are necessary for proper video playback and content streaming. Please select “Allow” when prompted to ensure full functionality of the app.
8. Finally, you’ll be directed to the login screen. Here, enter the username and password that were provided to you in the service information email from your IPTV provider. Make sure you input your credentials exactly as provided, paying close attention to uppercase/lowercase letters. Once entered, press “Login” to access your IPTV content.
