Samsung Smart TVs running Tizen OS don’t support direct APK installations. However, you can still enjoy IPTV using compatible apps from the Samsung App Store or by sideloading methods. Here’s how:
1: Choose a Compatible IPTV App
Samsung’s Tizen OS supports these IPTV apps:
- Smart IPTV (SIPTV)
- Set IPTV
- Net IPTV
- IBO Player
⚠️ Note: Some of these apps must be activated after a trial (usually a small one-time fee).
2: Install the IPTV App
- Press the Home button on your Samsung remote
- Go to Apps > Search
- Type and install one of the following:
- Smart IPTV
- Set IPTV
- Net IPTV
- If not available, check the official app website for USB installation instructions
3: Launch the App and Note the MAC Address
- Open the app
- You’ll see a MAC address on screen (e.g., 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX)
- Write it down — you’ll need it to upload your playlist
4: Upload Your M3U Playlist
Go to the IPTV app’s official web portal from a computer:
- For Smart IPTV: https://siptv.app/mylist/
- For Set IPTV: https://setsysteme.com/set.app
- For Net IPTV: https://www.netiptv.eu/upload
Then:
- Enter your MAC address
- Upload your M3U URL or playlist file
- Click Send or Upload
- Restart the app on your Samsung TV
5: Start Watching IPTV on Tizen
- Open the app again
- Your channels and VODs should load
- Use the remote to navigate live TV, movies, series, or EPG
Optional Tips
- Use a VPN for privacy and to access geo-blocked channels
- Connect your TV via Ethernet for best stability
- Clear cache and restart your TV if streams don’t load properly
